Later that evening, he fell strangely ill from what he supposed to be food poisoning from the aforementioned Furter-feast.
It seems that the Weiner was expired and then so was he. You could say…
The birdie took a Tern for the Wurst.

This is my entry for TJ’s Household HaiKu Challenge this weekend. I had a Car Wash in mind until it started to… well, you know. Why don’t you give it a go and pop over there to see what he’s up to. You’ll be glad you did. He’s decided to switch it up a bit. I’ll let him explain…
Hi all. I am shaking things up a little in TJ’s household haiku. From now on I will be expanding the prompt with two options (you only need to select one of the options)…
- A photo prompt without explanation – use anything in the shot as an inspiration and surprise us!
- A word prompt – use it somehow in your haiku.
You don’t have to include the word if you want to just use the picture as an inspiration or you don’t have to reference the picture if you use the word. Or you can use both.” -TJ
Smart Phone, Dumb People
Once again, I’m a few days late in finishing my latest entry to TJ’s Latest Challenge. Oh well…. sue me. I love the challenges he gives and just about every post he puts up on his wonderful Blog, including THIS celebration of his 500th Post. Yay, TJ!!!
As for this last Friday’s Challenge, the word was ‘Phone’. I’ll let TJ clue you in on what’s expected.
“Perhaps you have fonder attachments to this wonder of modern communication. Do not be put off by my fear of the object. I would love to know your own “connection” with the telephone in your life.” -TJ
So, without further Ado… my entries for the week. Enjoy.

“Get Off the Damned Phone!!”
Heads bowed, hands folded
Two together but Apart
Their eyes never meet.
