Yesterday would have been my Grandmother’s 95th birthday. We miss her.

greedy for sunlight

long fingers stretched towards heaven

leaves turning colors

bare roots to branches

leaves spring forth from tiny buds

life returning again

your life gave us life

mother of my mother gone

we remember you

    Then you have the mother of her mother……then the mother of her mother……..then the mother of her mother……sound familiar?
