CTOTD: Thoreauvian Thursday Edition… All those wonderful Trees

Doesn’t this tie make you think of  THIS optical illusion test picture?

I have to work today, but I’m off Friday and maybe Monday… if I can get my PTO approved.

Just like not seeing the forest for the trees or not being able to see more than one dot at a time, sometimes we get funnel vision in our daily lives. Time off, Holidays and sometimes the passing of family, friends and even celebs we’ve never even met helps us regain perspective. That’s what my post last night on Love was supposed to be about. I hope this season finds us all Merry and appreciative of all we have and all the family we still have left.

Alan Thicke, the Dad from Growing Pains passed yesterday at the young age of 69 while playing hockey with his 19 year old son. My thoughts and best wishes are with his real family today.
